Micros Travel will be attending the Travel Technology Show for the 10th consecutive year in 2010

Thursday, January 14, 2010

Micros Travel will be attending the Travel Technology Show for the 10th consecutive year in 2010, and this year we will be launching something special! Our innovative travel procurement system is sure to wow the visitors at our stand. By providing the end user with with a single suite encompassing reservations, procurement, ticketing, MI, expenses and corporate governance, SABS Corporate will revolutionise the way corporate travel is purchased both on and off line.

SABSCorporate is unique and designed in partnership with corporate travel agents. The system’s revolutionary intelligence engine, holistic costing module and supplier consolidation is key to the industry’s requirements and corporate client demands projected for 2010.

SABSCorporate is the only system in the market which consolidates content from multiple sources of rail, bed banks, GDS and ground transport suppliers into a singe web based interface allowing the end user to compare the times and costs of all travel options and methods without the need to log in and out of multiple systems.

SABSCorporate’s unique holistic costing and intelligence engines calculate and display the most time and cost effective method of travel based on travel policy, applicable booking fees, carbon cost, and man hour cost whist automatically compiling the most cost effective itinerary for the user to review, select and book.

Micros Travel’s Sales Manager, Chris Lewis, will be presenting SABSCorporate at the Theatre Session at 1230 on Wednesday 10th where he will also look at the revolution in technology over the last three decades and asks have travel agents kept pace. Chris will look to challenge agents to use technology to fight back and to re-engineer their businesses. His key message is “forget just surviving, use technology to grow”.
